Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to ClassBuddy. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ClassBuddy website and services operated by ClassBuddy Pte Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the ClassBuddy website, applications, and related services
• "Provider" refers to enrichment class providers who list their services on ClassBuddy
• "Parent" refers to users who browse and book enrichment classes through ClassBuddy
• "Credits" refers to the digital currency used to book classes on ClassBuddy

3. Account registration

To access certain features of our platform, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Credits and payments

• Credits are purchased in advance and used to book classes on the platform
• Credit prices are set by ClassBuddy and may vary based on demand and timing (peak, standard, off-peak)
• Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law
• Unused credits remain in your account and do not expire within 12 months of purchase

5. Bookings and cancellations

• Bookings are subject to availability and provider confirmation
• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the class will receive a full credit refund
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class may not be eligible for a refund
• No-shows will not receive a credit refund
• Providers may cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full credit refund will be issued

6. Provider terms

• Providers retain full control over which classes are listed on ClassBuddy
• ClassBuddy charges a commission on each completed booking (rate disclosed during onboarding)
• Payouts are processed monthly on the 5th of each month via bank transfer
• Providers may disable listings or leave the platform at any time without penalty
• Providers are responsible for the quality and safety of their classes

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Interfere with the operation of the platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
• Use the platform to send unsolicited communications

8. Intellectual property

All content on the ClassBuddy platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of ClassBuddy Pte Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of liability

ClassBuddy acts as a marketplace connecting parents with enrichment providers. We do not directly provide enrichment classes and are not responsible for the quality, safety, or suitability of classes offered by providers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount of credits purchased in the relevant transaction.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
